Height is something you just have to get use to judging for yourself. Notice though, that in order to get the sides high enough to walk under ( 6-7 feet or so ), the center has to be around 10 or so. In this case the trees are probably 40 feet apart so that puts the rope 12 – 15 feet up in the trees as the weight of everything sags the rope. And, of course, by tightening or loosening the rope, you adjust the height of the tarp. Thanks for watching – go camping! Ken
